Fun story about this hotel. I was over at The Last Bookstore when I was struck by the sudden and urgent need to piss. The cashier over the the bookstore told me to go to a restroom in a restaurant across the street. Turns out the restroom was out of order so one of the waitresses directed me to the Alexandria. She said there would be a restroom on the second floor. I run over into the Alexandria and run past security into the elevator and hastily push the close door button, only to find the Alexandria has NO 2ND FLOOR.

I had to hold it in for another 3 hours until I got home because I could not find a bathroom in the Alexandria on any floor (existent or non-existent), there were too many people in line for the toilet outside of the Pershing Square subway station, and because of Downtown LA’s inherent lack of restrooms.

tl;dr Don’t go to the Alexandria if you have to piss.
